What Does The Village Need?

Future of Marnhull Committee

Who We Are

We are a new committee being formed to study and then campaign for what the villagers of Marnhull really want. Due to potential pressures/repercussions from fellow villagers, Parish Council members and local Developers, we will be anonymising our minutes. We will accept no funding and are paying for all costs by personal donations. The exception to this is that we wish to fund a printed survey later this year. We have asked a local company from a nearby town to handle the production of this and they will donate their services in return for a small advert on the survey.

Why Are We Doing This?

A survey was carried out in 2023 by the Marnhull Parish Council. This is shaping our neighbourhood plan. We believe that there are holes in the data and that the survey was a poor representation of what the village as a whole wants for the future. We do not know what that is either, but we hope to find out. The previous study encouraged multiple entries per household and we believe multiple per person were also recorded. We will be trying to resolve that issue.
